Although it isn’t required, we have our anesthetic machines inspected yearly. They pass every time, but one of them was an old human machine extensively upgraded by Dr. Judy to work with modern anesthetics. It’s age and various modifications caused a few sidelong glances. We liked the cart it was built on, so David stripped it of its collection of soldered copper and brass fittings and we started fresh with a brand new system. One expensive component upgraded by Dr. Judy was calibrated and found to be as good as new, so we saved a couple thousand dollars while assuring your loved ones get the best possible care. Sue gets to keep using the handy cart with its convenient drawers. Fittingly, it’s first use was on David’s own dog for some dental work.
